This is a film that was made over the last couple of months. It's my first timelapse project. I used the Kessler Cineslider and the ORACLE Control System to pull off the camera moves. Special thanks to Kris Bargen for his help during some of these shots.

ND Filter: Promaster Variable Neutral Density Filter, providing 2 to 9
stops of light reduction. Came in handy when I wanted to see more sky.
The Red Epic Camera captures a free spirited little girl running, jumping and playing, very minimal daylight left. Frame rate: 400 fps
Pushed RedCine-X to the max. As a result there is is grain. Still pretty cool though! Magic Bullet Looks was used to create the subtle black diffusion.

Shot on the RED EPIC with minimal daylight left. A lot of the shots were filmed at 120 fps. A few were 60 fps. Vignetting was due to the fact I couldn't see anything when shooting wide (RED PRO 18-85mm T2.9 lens) on my monitor. Too chaotic to even care! But in the end I actually like the effect. You'll see our Cinestar 8 from Quadrocopter in a few of the shots filming with the Canon T4i.
In post I did a little bit of grading, but not much. Increased the mids and shadows a little on the night footage. There is a subtle diffusion effect using Magic Bullet Looks from RedGiant with a slight decrease in saturation and a simple S-Curve for the levels.
The Grand Rapids City Lights Music Festival is held at the Caldar Plaza l Aug. 17-18. It's a Celebration of Music, Art, and Life in one of the Greatest Cities in America.
